On September 17, 1787, delegates left the Constitutional Convention in the Independence Hall in Philadelphia.  As they exited, Benjamin Franklin was asked what kind of government do we have?  "A Republic," he replied, "if you can keep it."

What today means for Georgia?

First of all I would like to remember some historical lines about Georgia. My country is located in Caucasus, neighboring Russia, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan. It is true that this region was historically one of the key points of Silk Road and nowadays it is loosing the opportunity to be a hub between Asia and Europe again. 

Georgian people fight for a well-earnt and shortly stolen achievement, proportional electoral system, but the verdict of “Georgia’s wannabe Putin” and his puppet judicial system is bittersweet. 

Thousands of protesters tried on Thursday to storm the parliament in Georgia's capital Tbilisi. It came to violent riots!
