Students For Liberty today announced that their alumnus, Julio Clavijo, has been appointed as the new Vice Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion in Ecuador. Clavijo took office on May 26, 2021.
He will be working closely with Minister Mae Montaño and the office of the President, Guillermo Lasso, on advancing entrepreneurship and innovation in the country.
Becoming involved with Students For Liberty, first as a volunteer and later as a member of staff, has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. To say that my journey with Students For Liberty has been life-changing would be an understatement.

It is with a heavy heart that Students For Liberty informs you that our student leader and civil rights activist, Piotr Markiełaŭ, has been once again arrested and jailed by the Belarusian authorities.
