European Students for Liberty

This weekend, I had the opportunity to attend LibertyCon Europe, organized by my organization, Students For Liberty.

On Lebanon’s Independence Day, SFL alumna Romy Haber writes about her country’s critical situation. 

Students For Liberty will host an annual festival to highlight the ideas of a free society in the areas of philosophy, economics, and law.

Students For Liberty today announced that their alumnus, Julio Clavijo, has been appointed as the new Vice Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion in Ecuador. Clavijo took office on May 26, 2021. 

He will be working closely with Minister Mae Montaño and the office of the President, Guillermo Lasso, on advancing entrepreneurship and innovation in the country.

Becoming involved with Students For Liberty, first as a volunteer and later as a member of staff, has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. To say that my journey with Students For Liberty has been life-changing would be an understatement.

What today means for Georgia?

It is with a heavy heart that Students For Liberty informs you that our student leader and civil rights activist, Piotr Markiełaŭ, has been once again arrested and jailed by the Belarusian authorities.

Thousands of Belarusians took to the streets to revolt after the country’s Central Election Commission announced that Alexander Lukashenko had won with 80.23% of the presidential election vote on Sunday.

It took us 75 years to rebuild freedom in some parts of Europe after the totalitarian horrors of World War Two, and less than three weeks to bring it to its knees again.
